Kalau di buku pertama fokusnya ada pada Lily, di buku ini lebih fokus pada Robert. Meski begitu, peran Lily cukup penting di sini. Man he could certainly get my mood down. Ini buku kedua dari seri Cogheart yang diterjemahkan oleh Penerbit BIP (semoga yang ketiga segera menyusul). Terjemahannya enak banget! (Makasih mbak @dina.begum 😆🙌). Buku ini termasuk novel fantasi untuk U10+. Meski begitu, geregetnya masih sangat terasa untukku sebagai orang dewasa. 😄 Rich and strange (and kitted out with an eye-catching cover), but stronger in the set pieces than the internal logic. To help with that, we gathered all the answers/ keys of stories or chapters of Accelerated Reader which are listed below. In conclusion, this is a whimsical middle-grade book with wonderful characters and a nice story set in steampunk London. As you can see from Tolly’s quote, the story doesn’t only focus on adventure but also on teaching children valuable lessons. Maybe more than in the first book, themes like family, friendship, and honesty play a major role. Lily struggles with her father’s overprotectiveness and wishes she could prove herself, and Robert especially has to make some difficult decisions.Other than that I think that the story in itself is fine. We focus more on Robert who is trying to find his mother. Trying to find out what that part of him is. How she could leave him? Why she isn’t coming now that his father is dead. I think that for kids who only have one parent, who are in a similar situation, this will be very relatable. I’m glad to see that he was clearly welcomed in Lily’s family still whatever he choose to do.
