As well as expected growth from our UK market we are focussing on growing our International distribution this year. We’re working with some great Distributors & Sales agents in Portugal, Spain & Greece with a very possitive reaction to the brand so far. In terms of my dedication to living my best, of being the change I wanted to see, I suppose I was phoning it in, kinda.We have carried over some of our bestselling styles and colours from last season for continuity and have introduced new colours, prints and sustainable materials. We have added extra slider options into the Men’s & Women’s ranges due to the success of last year’s launch of sliders into the collection. Since we tested a variety of flip-flops with different levels of arch support, we asked our testing experts to wear them for long periods of time, on 5-7 different outings, to judge the comfort, support, and quality of the shoe. To test the traction, we walked on a variety of surfaces including loose gravel, concrete by the pool, sandy beaches, and tile floors. In the end, our top performing flip-flops require no breaking in, are made with high-quality materials, and provide all-day support for all types of travelers.
As a new brand we wanted to start off on the right foot so to speak and for too long regular footers have dominated the footwear market while us goofy footers have suffered in silence. It’s time to set things right.” Are we a sustainable brand? Not yet, but we believe that our path to becoming a more sustainable brand is part of our overall journey. We have a fairly even split of Men’s and Women’s styles in the range and both collections offer flip flops and sliders. Different activities call for varying levels of comfort, support, and durability. If you plan to wear your flip flops on a river run, you may prioritize a water-resistant option with exceptional traction. Those embarking on a hike will need a flip flop with excellent stability and durability. Casual users won't need to prioritize those features, but comfort will be key. By considering the activities you plan to engage in, you can make a better-informed choice and choose a flip flop that meets your specific needs. Water ActivitiesOffering a versatile assortment is also key to the Women’s collection. Whether that be something to wear to the beach in a bold print or pastel colour like our Zikat-SC & Lixi-SC styles. Or something that looks and feels a little more premium that works from the beach to the bar like our ‘Earth Series’ collection styles, available in flip flop and slider silhouettes. Many companies are offering natural toe-box-shaped shoes. Feet tend to spread out as you get closer to the toes, and these foot-shaped shoes take this into account. This may be intriguing for those with wide feet as you won't need to worry about your pinky toe handing off the side. If you find your toes handing off, those shoes don't fit! However, those with narrow feet won't need to worry too much about this. If anything, those with narrow feet might need to half-size down for properly fitted straps. It is an overused but simple quote that we buy into, we see the journey to becoming a more sustainable brand a journey that has no final destination. While everyone’s feet are different, a pair of flip-flops with arch support is truly a game-changer for comfort. Keep an eye out for sandals with generous cushioning and a raised heel that creates a ramp to support the shape of the foot for comfort and balance. A high-quality flip-flop will have a sturdy outsole with traction, but the midsole and footbed should also have enough cushioning to cradle the foot for maximum comfort.
T+L’s team of writers, editors, and expert product testers wore 36 pairs of flip-flops for two weeks to get a feel for the comfort, durability, and support of the open-toed footwear. Straight out of the box, our testers evaluated the materials and arch support of each pair of shoes by bending the flip-flops down the middle to determine stability. They also paid close attention to the break-in period, noting how comfortable the sandals were and if the straps caused any chafing or blisters. This was a competitive test with plenty of flip-flops for both men and women scoring highly. We still like the sandals listed below, but they didn’t make our list above due to some minor issues we noticed during testing.

Sustainabilty has allways been at the forefront of our minds right from the beginning of the brand conception and the idea was always to try and increase the amount of sustainable materials we use each season. The majority of our Men’s & Women’s collection uses a‘soft to step’ 15-30% recycled EVA foam on thefootbed and outsole. Our Men’s Mully and Women’s Wahoo stylesaremade from a brushed recyclable TPE foam, thetoeposts are made from recycled plastic bottles (RPET) and the padded upper strap is made from a 100%hemp canvas that is lined with organic cotton for comfort. The whole range is vegan-friendlyand PVC free. FoamLife was created by a collective of like-minded friends, creatives, thinkers, makers, and doers. Our story is an unconventional one from the outset… This historic announcement had come as welcome news to the often-neglected goofy footed community. A real step in the right direction”.
