About this deal

If you’re constantly trying to run at full speed, you can get tired and anxious and that will only hinder the time it takes to achieve your goals.

No, we’re not dumping an application to a prestigious tech college on your plate. You have enough to deal with.

Some more Big ideas

This way you know what you have to do, so you can schedule the appropriate chunks of time to do it and get that shit done. 4. SCHEDULE PRIORITIES Using the 80/20 Rule can help you out big time when trying to be productive and do the more important thing first. Sometimes the best ideas are the simplest. Don’t rob yourself of the opportunity to bebrilliant by thinking that every idea you have has to be the most original, complicated and complex thing ever. It really, really doesn’t. 10. Ask for help

Those who truly aspire to be successful entrepreneurs are a rare breed. They have a unique way of thinking about the world and finding creative ways to solve problems. They dance to the beat of our drum and set lofty goals for themselves. And most notably, they have the drive and desire to get shit done. To bring your goals within arm’s reach, all to-do lists should have these qualities ( among others) in common:There’s nothing more intimidating than a mile-long to-do list. The longer a to-do list becomes, the harder it can be to motivate yourself. If you’re working on one thing at a time (and you should be!), then you only need one or two tabs open. When I’m writing, I have one window open – the one I’m writing in.. and nothing else. I even turn music off, so it doesn’t distract me. This mostly comes down to setting ridiculous lengths of time like 4 or 5 hours where they say they will be ‘creative’ and ‘productive’ but end up staring at the wall. The sweet spot is in allocating a time span where you can really focus and then break off when your mind begins to wander. Regular practice of meditation will increase your concentration power which leads to an increase in productivity.

It can be so hard to sit down and work. It can be hard to find the focus, know where to start, have the discipline to keep going, fight through the creative resistance and and have the courage to start when you have gremlins of self doubt sitting in your shoulder. Or even worse, it could lead to anxiety – you could even end up in the hospital if you push yourself too hard. Not everyone runs on lists. However, if you’re struggling to make sense of your goals, a list could save you time, energy, and the need to come up with excuses for when the thing that needs to happen, well, doesn’t.

We all know that feeling, looking at our to-do list and thinking “Shit, there’s a lot of stuff on there”. However, even the most basic outline of the things you need to do can help you crush your goals and foes. Largely, your goals. Research shows you’ll do better work if you take more downtime. More hours spent working does not equal better work.

And if you work at home like I do, it can be very easy to get distracted – mail, chats, pets, laundry – you get it.Don’t begin the activities of your day until you know exactly what you plan to accomplish. Don’t start your day until you have it planned.
