About this deal

The publishers of Archie Comics could have given Jughead new headgear at some point in the 1960s or ’70s, but for whatever reason, they didn’t.

She tells him that their story isn't done yet and begs him to come back to her while Archie and Veronica watch sadly on. Their mutual love and appreciation for food (she cooks, he eats), and continuously going to bat for each other have made their friendship a stronghold in the comics. They've updated the characters in both the comics and the television show, but this piece still fits in completely seamlessly! A short-lived show in the 1970s, Archie's TV Funnies, featured other comic strip characters, such as Broom-Hilda and Smokey Stover. But what I find striking is that the notion dates back to 1951, and provides a legitimate rationale for why Jughead might have come to see it as such. Jughead appears in the first issue of Afterlife with Archie before being bitten by a resurrected Hot Dog, which transforms him into a zombie. To keep him safe, FP got help from some people in the town to fake Jughead's death and has moved him out of Riverdale.

His most ardent admirer is Ethel Muggs, an awkward but very friendly girl who chases after Jughead at every opportunity, despite Jughead's constant and blunt refusals. No, what I'm talking about is where Jughead got his actual hat from and why it makes sense that he should still wear it in 2017. For instance, in the episode "Twisted Youth", he is transformed back into a puppy as a result of drinking some age-reversing water. But in the 1951 story, he's convinced that he should grow up and starts sporting an unmolested fedora. Jughead made the ultimate sacrifice when he and the rest of his friends were deciding what items to put in Riverdale High's time capsule. Because of his well-known food obsession, Jughead was shown eating a hamburger on the facades of the short-lived Archie's Family Restaurants. Jughead's Time Police was a series that began in 1990 featuring Jughead as a hero of the 29th century and a member of the Time Police, an organization that ensures history to remain the same for the future's sake. While generally disinterested in matters of the heart, Jughead frequently stands up for Betty when Archie breaks her heart.

She tends to drive Jughead crazy with her ability to predict his next moves, and they developed a love-hate relationship. In the "Time Police" comic, there is a double of his beanie given to him by an unknown benefactor (later revealed to be himself) that allows him to travel in time. The hat is crocheted flat with back loops single crochet for a faux-ribbed look with a “drawstring” to create the shape.Jim died very soon after, so Jughead sat in with Jim's friends on the corner to play one last, mournful version of " St. Given that context, it make sense that he'd want to hang on to the item that (sort of) saved his life.
