About this deal

I’m not overstating it when I say that Nick, Connor and the team have been instrumental in the development of our company from the early days of testing and trialing product ideas. When riding, it keeps everything in place, and the sticky tape mount means it can be placed anywhere on the bike, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the rider or moving parts. As such, 76 Projects will continue to partner with 3DPRINTUK as it continues to evolve with the manufacture of parts, utilising 3DPRINTUK’s years of hands on experience. However I also had a issue when after hitting a pothold the tyre shifted and wouldn't re seal, maybe the tyre pressure was too low, but I don't think this should happen in any case.

However, if you have the real estate, I would recommend adding the Micro Piggy to your setup as additional storage. You can either seat the tyre without sealant and then pump sealant through the valve, or seat the tyre with sealant in.The feedback from testing combined with our in-house 3D printers allow them to quickly refine, test and repeat until theyhave a product they are happy with. Luckily for me this didn’t occur so I had to simulate it by accessing the multi tool to make an adjustment while out riding. For positioning, I opted for the top of my top tube, since my v-brake cable routing prevented me from placing it underneath.

If you're forever finding yourself stuck with clogged-up tubeless valves, or you're just looking into setting up your bike with tubeless tyres, these valves are ideal. Projects says, '76 Projects' HI FLOW valves have 4x the air throughput and a redesigned core that helps prevent sealant build-up. With versatile mounting placement and its low weight (22g), it's a useful addition to the bike for carrying items. Industrial designers with over 30 years experience between them, they're also avid cyclists with a passion for all cycling disciplines. When testing, I loaded the Micro Piggy with bulky, heavy items - it’ll keep whatever you want in place, and I haven’t managed to work the sticky tape off.At 76 Projects, MJF and SLS are now the predominant processes used for both prototyping and production as this suits the business model and 3DPRINTUK is the preferred production partner. I do have to unclog the valves quite frequently, though, so I was very keen to test the 76 Projects valves, and as I squeezed the bottle of sealant I noticed straight away how quickly and easily the sealant flowed through the valve. I'd been seriously considering the Reserve Fillmore valves, which did come top of the "Best Tubeless Valve" lists I'd seen, these seem to offer better value and more importantly, easy to source spares.

In the mid 2000s, the powder bed fusion (PBF) process was established as reliable for both form and functional testing of parts and tools. The 76 Projects TT Mount allows a great placement of your Garmin or Wahoo close to the hands allowing you to glance at the data rather than move your head position. This provides a forward-thinking solution to the annoyingly common problem of clogged-up tubeless valves. The stick-on mounting itself is quite straight forward: Use the alcohol wipe provided to ensure a clean surface; place the adhesive strip on the back of the mount, and press it onto the frame. However, the company does still use other manufacturing processes including injection moulding, extrusion 3D printing, CNC, carbon fibre layup, and also textile manufacturing where it’s deemed more suitable for strength, weight, cost, and quantity. Paul Robertson, Co-owner and Designer at 76 Projects provided further insight: “We necessarily had to develop a trusted relationship with key suppliers for the manufacturing side of our business, and we wanted that to be within the UK.
