I bought this as it was recommended by my friend and violin teacher as a great starter book for my 5 year old. Included in book 1: pieces by Vivaldi, Mozart and Saint-Saëns, Scottish, Chinese and Ukrainian folk tunes, music by Saint-Georges and Ignatius Sancho, and ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’. I think this book explains all about the violin and how to play it excellently, would recommend it to anyone.
